Launching Amazon’s AI Shopping Assistant.

Supported the launch communications for Amazon Rufus. Contributed to the external messaging, press release, and CEO  Andy Jassy’s remarks announcing  Rufus during earnings.

Behind The Scenes.

As part of the communications team behind the launch of Amazon  Rufus, I helped craft the narrative introducing the company’s first conversational AI to customers and investors. My work focused on translating complex technology into clear, relatable language aligned with Amazon’s commitment to creating a delightful customer experience.

Collaborating across product, PR, and executive comms, I contributed to the press release, executive talking points, and other external assets supporting  CEO Andy Jassy’s announcement of  Rufus  during Amazon’s quarterly earnings call.

The project also highlighted the personal touch behind the technology: Rufus was named after a beloved Corgi owned by an Amazon executive — a symbol of creativity, loyalty, and warmth that helped humanize this new era of AI‑assisted shopping.
